Mustard Seed is excited to return to IESE to host a pitching competition as part of the Doing Good Doing Well conference on February 26th. Mustard Seed is a London-based investor in early-stage enterprises whose portfolio includes luminaries such as Winnow and what3words. We return to campus again seeking talented entrepreneurs who are committed to solving large societal issues.
The winning venture will be invited for a business plan workshop with Mustard Seed, as well as connecting with appropriate members from our network. The goal is to further the winner’s chances of becoming an investable enterprise. While the award does not include prize money, all ventures will be considered for potential investment by our team.

Oriol Juncosa
Technology Investor and Advisor
Oriol is an investor and advisor to tech companies, especially in Spain and the UK. He is passionate about helping tech start-ups to commercialise new technologies/business models, to scale internationally and raise financing, and is a mentor at Techstars, Startupbootcamp, Wayra, Conector and The Founder Institute.
Former Investment Director at Nauta Capital, a venture capital fund with $200m under management. He has been involved in the sourcing, investing and advising of companies such as ABAEnglish, ForceManager, SocialPoint, Privalia/Groupalia and Marfeel.
8 years of investment banking and principal investment with a focus on Technology, Media and Telecommunications at Merrill Lynch and BNP Paribas in London. He worked on M&A transactions and investments in fintech (Payzone in the UK), eCommerce (Vente-Privee in France), consumer goods (SAB Miller),etc. He also worked in technology strategy consulting with Monitor Group in Madrid.

Holder of the Alcatel-Lucent Chair of Management of Technology, and part of the faculty at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.
